Kuselan Sold Out; Creates Record in Sales!!
SundarJi has given a Soooooper Dooooper News regarding Kuselan's
business. When such a news comes in Daily Thanthi and thru Super
Sundar, it has to be undisputable - is it not?
Rest assured, this splendid achievement of Kuselan is UNIQUE and
will remain as the Benchmark till 2010, when Robot's sales will beat
it.
Following reasons make this a Unique record by Kuselan:
1. Rajini has only 25% screen presence in Kuselan as against a
normal 100% presence required for a Hero in any movie (for some
others even 10 roles may not be sufficient to fetch such a price
from the market).
2. First movie for which COMPETITIVE BIDDING was invited from Big
Corporate Houses to decide the BEST DISTRIBUTION PRICE.
3. If we take Sivaji's record of first level disti rights (i.e.
revenue earned by AVM Productions when they sold Sivaji to
distis/theatres directly), it is mentioned that AVM collected around
Rs. 100 to Rs. 110 Crores. Mind you, this figure includes other
rights like audio, DVD, satellite TV, etc. Kuselan, with only 25%
screen presence of Thalaivar, should have raked in only around Rs.
25 to Rs. 30 crores, based on Sivaji's revenue figures. But, it has
garnered MORE THAN DOUBLE THIS FIGURE (Rs. 65 Crore).
4. From another report posted in our forum/site, this Rs. 65 crore
paid by Pyramid Saimeera is only for disti rights in India.
Overseas rights seem to have been bagged by Ayngaran Intl. for
another Rs. 40 Crores. If that be the case, then my conclusion in
point No. 3 above, goes for a toss. Kuselan THEN EQUALS SIVAJI IN
DISTRIBUTION SALES.

5. Kuselan's producers i.e. KB's Kavithaalaya DID NOT PLEAD WITH
BUYERS TO GIVE THEM RS. 1 MORE THAN SIVAJI in order to satisfy their

sweepstakes. On the contrary, even as the first shooting schdule is
in progress (about 40% of the movie only has been canned as per P.
Vasu), the business of Kuselan has ATTRACTED TOP CORPORATE HOUSES
who came on their own offering huge sums for bagging the disti
rights because its a Rajini movie.
6. Let us look at things in prespective while comparing Kuselan
with Sivaji.
For Sivaji, there were at least an album of stills for disti's like
Abirami Ramanathan to go thru & then buy it at record prices. Then
Rajini was all over Sivaji as Hero along with its USP of Shankar at
the helm with ARR as MD.
For Kuselan, none of the above is applicable. P.Vasu can't be
equated in the same league as Shanakar, though he gave one of the
biggest block busters in Tamil Cinema with Thalaivar in CM.
Thalaivar himself will not be coming throughout Kuselan but only for
about 25% of the time. There is NO A.R.Rahman but only his nephew &
upcoming MD, G.V. Prakash.
In spite of so many supposedly drawbacks stated above which are
supposed to make Kuselan sell at a lower figure than Sivaji, Kuselan
has commanded huge business interest and that too NOT from small
timers or black marketeers but from respected & reputed corporated
houses. THIS KIND OF BUSINESS FOR KESELAN EQUALLING SIVAJI IS
POSSIBLE ONLY BECAUSE OF ONE MAN - RAJINI, RAJINI & RAJINI and
nothing else.
Everyone in the industry & film business knows that the name Rajini
SELLS. So, they all know that even if Rajini comes only for a
relatively less screen time than normal, they are confident that
Rajini's mere screen presence is more than enough to ATTRACT MASSES
TO THE THEATRES. For Rajini movies, Masses nowadays mean, not only
from TN or South India or North India but ALL OVER THE GLOBE.
THAT IS WHAT MAKES RAJINI'S FILMS SELL LIKE REAL HOT CAKES. As soon
as KB opened Kuselan's business, it sold off immediately. Like a
bakery, as soon as they bring the freshly baked cake onto the show
room, immediately people will grab it & releish it by eating. Only
difference is, a cake has to be definitely baked & be fresh & hot.
For a Rajini movie, a mere announcement about the project is enough
for distis to come & wait for the business negotiations to start.
They know it will be good & will attract masses because Rajini is
there.
So, the bottomline is when it is Rajini, then there is no need for
watching the full movie or doing a huge promo to attract buyers or
silent pleading with buyers to purchase.

bask in the reflected glory from other Stars. Kuselan has proved

Rajini - Kamal friendship in shambles?
Media has started cooking its own story regarding Rajini-Kamal's friendship now. Rajini's absence in Dasavatharam audio launch has triggered such thoughts.There's no necessity for Rajini to be present in each and every function of Kamal's and also there's no need for Kamal too to be present in all of our function. If they both were presented in a function, that was due to the director or producer's thick relationship both stars. Superstar knows which one to attend and which one to skip
1) Superstar would have decided to stay away just because he didn't want to steal the limelight and deviate the function's cause. The function was for Dasavatharam and to promote the film and hero. If he participates, whenever Superstar name is uttered he may get thunderous applause (this happened in Aalavandhan audio release, where general audience went crazy when a few scenes from Baasha was shown there in the stage. Clippings from Suresh Krishna's movies were shown) and this may annoy other VIPs there. (Already Kamal was pushed next to Jackie Chan) Moreover, according to hearsays there's no good rapport between Rajini and Oscar Ravichandran. So, there are 1000 reasons for Superstar to skip the function. This should not be linked with his friendship with Kamal.
2) Since Kalaignar participated in the function, he might have skipped. Wondering? Yes. True.
Rajini used to keep away from those who rule the state always and he is very choosy to share the stage with them. He has said this some years back in a felicitation ceremony of SP Balasubramanian which was held in Music Academy Chennai. In that event, he said that he wanted to skip the event as the then Chief Minister Kalaignar was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. He also quoted the Thirukural which taught that one should not get too close to the king.
In Aachi Manorama felicitation too (which was held just after a couple days of Sivaji 175 days function) where Kalaignar was the Chief Guest, Superstar attended just because he preferred over the other function where he was supposed to attend that evening. (Tuglak annual function, where Modi was the Chief Guest)3) Moreover, he has allotted weekend to watch 20/20 in Chennai and he didn't want to take off from Kuselan shoot in Friday. Already the schedule was disrupted because of Nayantara's collapse on the sets. He had to finish the song sequence.
Why there will be no split?
1)There are countless VVIPs who are yearning to have friendship with Superstar - if not atleast a formal chat with him. So nobody in earth would like to break the bond with him. If only Rajini decides to break away from a person - there will be such chances. But the respect and passion Rajini having with Kamal is incomparable. So, there's no such a probability.
2) In the past too we heard such 'Rajini-Kamal split' stories many times and they turned false.
Note1: You may ask "What about Sathyraj who wantedly went against Superstar?" - For us he is not in the FRIENDS list of Superstar and he is unfit for that. Actually he was in the list of "Stomach burning parties". Time will teach Sathyaraj what a big unpardonable blunder he has done.
Note2: Those who want some laugher riots regarding yesterday's audio launch are requested to read the following news from today's Times of India where it says that Jackie Chan threw some unintentional tantrums in Chennai hotel. And it reads that at one extent he asked, "Who is Bachchan? I don't know who is he!". Really funny. Proud to be thalaivar fans
Hi All!!!!
I am an off and on writer to this group but daily i keep all the details posted. I was really amazed, shocked and humiliated after hearing actor Satyaraj speech during the protest against Karnataka. Sorry for posting this topic quite late as this issue have taken place some weeks back but it is never too late to express our feelings and thoughts. Being a Malaysian settled in Singapore, I am sad to see my fellow friends fighting for their rights there and still there are not much changes there. But it is not the same as what is happening now here in Tamilnadu. I am so shamed to be called Indian, originating from a country which is known of its multi language and culture which once i was proud of. Now the question is why are we fighting among our own self, it is not Tamilnadu or Karnataka, but Indians among Indians. Why are we talking and taking step to stop Pakistan war of terror when our own people have no unity ,peace and love among each other. This will be an advantage to the others .Now it starts from water, then the matter will grow to something else, perhaps race, culture. Oh god.guys, we have to stop all this..sorry to say this but have a look at china, they are also having multi language and culture, However they are all united, if u see them , they support each other especially in business, they never give chance for others to have piority as they always give privallage for their own race which I feel it is good, and they are the one who succeed in whatever field they are compared to us, unfortunately we, Indians are always trying to step each others back, creating more issues and look like we are not united at all in anyway. I am not telling all Indians are like this or bad but majority of them, north looking down on south, south and south are fighting and name it, in anything we are not in common. It is something to think about . There are no one giving proper solution for any issue nor listening to any party and to resolve this matter wisely. Looking at this, i wonder how can India will become the leader in the future.What is the use creating more Ambani's or Mittals . What are we doing as individual? Where are we now compare to other leading countries?
Coming to Mr.Satyaraj speech on the rally, it was seriously very humiliating and began to provoke my anger when he was talking and pointing some points about our idol, Rajinikanth sir. He was not thinking that not only Tamilnadu is seeing him live there but the entire world. Beside that, the language that he used was very very vulgar,no sense and as if he is humiliating his own wife and family. A actor is seen and known as an idol to many fans especially the young ones, the way they are in the professional field and in person but this man was giving a very wrong and bad example to many fans out there.The anger that he had showed, the language and message he gave was not really from a wise man, he behaved like a street person. I assume that a street person will know a bit more manners compared to him. One thing for sure, We are proud that our Thalaiver who sat there, had no comments on this and listened very humbly to this crap speech even this crazy man was talking about him. Rajinikanth Sir told wisely about this issue and also a million thanks to his buddy Kamalhassan sir who commented very smartly pertaining to the matter spoken.
Look like now we have to make our Thalaiver to pull the trigger and enter politic soon and change, at least try to change all the holes in the country especially the people. He is the real man who can reform India and that is why many are attacking him now, saying so many things which is not true and only trying to make money and fame out of this, but there are no one whom are thinking about the country , and its future.
Hope that this problem get solved without any issue and bring happiness to all the people in india especially tamilnadu and karataka.

Superstar has seen everything in life. What he ignored as "enough....enough" is now being enjoyed by others as rarity.
No other stars faced blunt crticisims like him and also immersed in showers of praises like him. But all are same for him. He sees no difference between praising and scolding.
This FULL PAGE ad appeared in Daily Thanthi during the year 1999 and look who has given the ad. I think i don't need to reveal the reasons for giving ads like this that time. But it needs wit and wisdom for a person to slip away from the such act of gratifications.

‘Kuselan’ to be auctioned?
For the first time in the history of Tamil cinema, theatrical rights of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kuselan’ will be sold in an auction.According to reports, the decision was taken by producer K Balachandar following stiff competition to acquire the rights of the movie.
Hence, it is said that an auction would be conducted soon, in which release rights of the movie is expected to be bagged for record prices.
The shooting for the movie, directed by P Vasu features Rajinikanth, Pasupathy, Meena and Nayantara. It is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Katha Parayumpol’.

Superstar's daughter ties up with Warner Brothers!
Soundarya Rajinikanth has done it again. She has tied up with the
Hollywood major `Warner Brothers` into an exclusive multi-picture deal
with her Ocher Studios. The pact covers the production and
distribution of Live-Action South Indian language films to be released
by Warner Bros.
The agreement was announced by Soundarya Rajinikant MD, Ocher Studios
and Blaise Fernandes Country Head for Warner Brothers Pictures. "We
are excited and proud to be working with Soundarya Rajnikant who is
extremely talented, has good insight into film making and knows the
pulse of the southern market" said Blaise Fernandez.
Soundarya in her statement said: "It is indeed a privilege for us to
be associating with Warner Bros who are a world leader in the
Entertainment Industry. Ocher Studios has always strived towards
achieving high standards in quality content creation, and with
Warner's expertise in the marketing and distribution space this
association will definitely create an impact in the film industry"
The deal is for three years and Soundarya will make live-action
feature films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. As for Ocher's other
commitment with Adlabs will remain for the Rajinikanth animated film
Sultan.
The buzz is that soon Soundarya will be producing a full length film
with her dad, the superstar which will be distributed globally by

Kuselan tidings : Three songs completed
Bhangra king to croon for Boss
Well known Punjabi bhangra pop singer Daler Mehndi will be lending his voice for superstar Rajinikanth in Kuselan. The movie is a remake of the popular Malayalam film Kadha parayumbol. This is the first time Daler, the king of Indian bhangra pop, will sing for a south Indian film. Young music composer G.V.Prakash managed to rope in the Punjabi singer for a duet, which will be filmed on Rajinikanth and Nayanthara at the film city in Hyderabad. Apparently, the producers of the movie have paid Daler a whopping amount. Kavitha Krishnamoorthy will sing with him.

Superstar Rajnikant launched music of Puri Jagannadh and Prabhas's Bujjigaadu this evening (April 18, 2008) at special function held at Andhra Club in Chennai.
Rajnikant who hardly attends functions attended this on the request of director Puri Jagannadh. The film's main cast and crew including hero Prabhas, Trisha, Sanjana, producer K S Ra
marao and music director Sandeep Chowtha graced the function. Heroine Priyamani also attended as guest. Other prominent Telugu producers who reside in Chennai like Pundarikakshyya also were present.Rajnikant praised director Puri Jagannadh. "There are many reasons why I came to this audio launch but the primary one is because of Puri Jagannadh. I had seen his Pokiri and Chirutha and I became his fan. All the big stars are banking on him to launch their sons. That proves his mettle. Also I attended the 100 days function of Puri's Kannada film, Appu and then Late Rajkumar told me about Puri's greatness as director," Rajnikant showered praises. He also said he is happy to be back at Andhra Club. "I have very fond memories of this club. First Puri and K S Ramarao suggested that I should launch formally at my residence but I told them it is better to launch in big way. So I am glad to be here this club again," he said.

Superstar back in Kuselan shoot; to romance with Nayan
After the much talked Hogenakkal fast and other short trips inside the country - Superstar has joined back the Kuselan team and he is to romance Nayantara for a duet song which would be canned in Ramoji Rao film city, Hyderabad.Now, to Daily Thanthi news.
Kuselan: Rajini's duet with Nayantara to be shot for 10 days
Kuselan shoot has been going on for the past one month in Ramoji Rao Film city in Hyderabad. Scenes involved Rajini, Pasupathy and Meena were shot.
Now a duet song for Superstar with Nayantara would be shot in a huge set erected at the film city. Sources say that the song's shoot would last for 10 days.
And after that the crew would move to back waters of Kerala and Alapuzha for another song and finally to Pollachi for climax.

Rajni to rock North India
Superstar Rajinikanth's Shivaji, the Blockbuster of the year 2007, is
now all set to hit theatres in Northern India. The reshooting and
dubbing work of the film is over now and the producers are now
negotiating with their Mumbai and upcountry counterparts to release
the movie in big way.
Even the Tamil version was a hit for North Indian audiences all over
India and the film has successfully completed its 100th day mark in
two theaters in Mumbai and one in New Delhi (as said by AVM).
The Hindi version of Shivaji will hit the screens with nearly 350
prints all over the country. There are number of big names also
contending for the distribution rights of the great film including the
UTV Group, the producers of Jodha Akbar.
According to the producers, the movie will be a big summer treat for
the North Indian viewers and releasing date will be announced soon
after completing the distribution formalities.

Director P. Vasu, who is busy with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's film 'Kuchelan', is lately amused by rumours about a possible inclusion of several leading stars in a song. "Why would we do that…something on those lines has already been tried in a recent Hindi film. It is absolutely false…," he told The Hindu.
The director said the shoot was on in full swing. Apart from actor Pasupathy, who plays the super hero's friend, actor Prabu plays an interesting role as Rajinikanth's security officer, he said.

Rajini's advice to Karnataka Fans
Please find the news in the link.
For the benefit of those who dont understand Tamil I am providing the jist.
According to the news, Karnataka State Rajini fans President, Chandrakanth along with Venkatesh had planned to unite all the fans present in Karnataka and organise a state-wide agitation against the anti-social elements in Karnataka who had threatened not to allow Rajini inside the state and also not to allow the screening of Rajini films in the state.
On hearing this, Rajini sensed that if this agitation goes ahead then the situation will go out of control. So, he had asked the fans to drop this agitation and also not to issue any statement to the press by themselves. He also assured the fans that he himself will handle the situation aptly.

Raghavendra Swami is a Tamilian; Babaji too is a Tamilian!
During the recent Hungerstrike by Kollywood on Hoganekkal issue, actor Sathyaraj indirectly threw some allegations on Superstar Rajinikanth.We know that GOD is the supreme power and the ALMIGHTY is apart from linguistic barriers. But to make understand some truths to the maramandais, we have taken this weapon. Oh..God, please forgive us!!
1) Sathyaraj alleged Superstar to go for some Tamil god instead of Raghavendra Swami. For his info and others info:
Raghavendra Swami is a Tamilian
Raghavendra Swami is a pure Tamilian who born in Bhuvanagiri in Tamil Nadu and attained Sanyasa in Kumbakonam who later on obtained Jeevasamadhi in Manthralaya. Sathyaraj has really spoken non-sense without knowing the truth. I wonder how Sathyaraj who acted in Superstar's Sri Raghavendra as Nawab Siddhi Masoodkhan, the role of a Nawab who donated land for Mantralaya temple.
2) Mahavatar Babaji is too a TamilianRajini's spiritual Guru Mahavatar Babaji too was born at Parangipettai in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. Later he went to Srilanka where he befriended Boghar - a famous Siddhar who made Palani Andavar's main deity with herbs (Navabashanam). So, Mahavatar Babaji has close association with Srilankan Tamils too.
So, Superstar's God and Guru are both pure Tamilians. Do Sathyaraj say not to worship Tamilians?
3) Sathyaraj, Change your name please!
Sathyraj has been insisting all along in his speech that why one should go for North, when you have so much in Tamil. The same i ask Mr.Sathyaraj. Your name itself is purely north. Why not change your name to 'Meyyarasan' a pure Tamil word
Pls correct yourself - and preach others Mr.Sathyaraj.
Finally to Sathyaraj: Mr.Sathyaraj we know that you have fallen prey to those Vaitherichal Parties and Rajas who provoked you too speak like that.

Rajini should rule; People should prosper - Posters at the fast venue
Makkal vaazha vaendum; Manna nee aala vaendum!!On the Hunger strike day (4th April) when i was entering from Mount Road to Triplicane area (where the Hogenakkal fast was observed) i was awestruck to see these posters pasted on walls which showered praises on our boss.
I could see no posters of other actors in that area. (Though i could see a few Vijayakanth posters who runs a political party)
The moment i saw these posters - i paused my bike and read it with eager and then immediately clicked it. These posters have been pasted all over the fast venue.
These posters have been pasted by rural fans not city fans. City fans who have received lots of welfare related helps from Sathy and Superstar remained silent and turned no stone during the fast. But these rural fans had come up with posters and saved our dignity and proved their loyalty to our Boss.
If these posters were not pasted really it would turned fans like me sad since we found lots of posters during Superstar's 2002 Cauvery fast.
Anyway thanks to these Thiruvarur Fans for coming with such an excellent poster. Nice wordings and thoughts. Kudos!!

You all might be aware of Sathyaraj's immatured speech at the fast in presence of thalaivar before thousands of people.
Paralysed for a moment
Rajinifans who were there, were shocked and became paralysed for a moment. Other fans those who were not there but watching in television at their homes and lakhs of common people who were hooked before the tv sets too were get offended by his speech.
Radhravi started and Sathyaraj concluded
It was all Radharavi who started this. When Superstar entered the stage, there was thundering applause which made the Vaitherichal parties there to fume. It took some time for the whistles to settle down. Immediately Radharavi plucked the mike and said that this is not a place to whistle or clap. (If it happens to his party leader Jayalalitha, will he say this?)
Why Vijayakumar sung praises on Superstar there?
Most of the speakers who spoke there at the stage, kept on telling "Superstar is from Karnataka", "he is a Kannadiga", "thanks to Supertstar being there despite his Kannada origin" etc.etc., This hurted Superstar very much. He didn't show that in his face. But his heart felt very much to hear that since he has declared in many meetings and films that he is Tamilian. Vijayakumar who is a close friend of Superstar understood his friend's pain. So, he used his speech as an opportunity to soothe his friend. He wondered why there are addressing Superstar as Kannadiga who is with them in Tamil Nadu for 35 years. So. there is nothing wrong in Vijayakumar's speech though it may be out of context some times.
If that is right, this is also right
Sathyaraj whenever attends any function speaks about MGR and sings praises on him - irrespective of that function's aim. So, what wrong in Vijayakumar's speech? Even in this function Sathyaraj showered praises on MGR. If that is right, this s also right.

For Superstar, both brickbats and kudos are same
Even if you take in the sense that Vijayakumar's speech is wrong and he should not have sung praises on Superstar in this diaz, Sathyaraj should have pointed out that decently. And there's lots of way to point out that. If he points out in a right way, even Superstar would agree that - as he never likes any one singing his praise. For Superstar, both brickbats and kudos are same. But Sathyaraj used the opportunity to show his 'vaitherichal' rather than pointing out the hunger strike's aim. Later at the end of the day, I heard that even common public and thaikulam's didn't like the way that he spoke.
What happened to fans?
I have been receiving continuous calls from my friends all over, expressing their anger towards Sathyraj and asked me how he managed to slip away from that place after speaking like that in front of Superstar. They felt at least our fans who were there should have shown their protest during the speech itself or while he was leaving the venue.
Fans' response? It's Old story
I said, "It is all old story. Our fans have turned apathetic (inert), ever since we lost our battle with Ramadoss. So, you couldn't expect any reaction, rather than listening to it and fuming with ourselves - even from me."
I am not in a thought that fans should indulge in violence. Then what's the difference between us and some anti-social elements here? I thought that some fans would protest in a non-violent way. Many wondered what happened to Madurai fans who always show oppose through posters. If the same happened ten years ago, we could not imagine what would have happened. Since there was not any reaction, i came to conclusion that fans are still inactive and they could not turn again active and that it is impossible.

(Check the news paper scanning) And we should again thank Sathyaraj for making thalaivar to burst out like that. If he wasn't there we would have missed such a violent speech from thalaivar which has shown his another side to us (Aaravadhu mugham). What a ferocious speech...i still spell bound by his speech.

Meanwhile, a Congress person has issued a legal notice to Sathyaraj asking apology for his vulgar speech in the diaz before thousands of people.

Kannada groups demand apology from Rajinikanth
Bangalore: Enraged over superstar Rajinikanth's comments favouring
the Hogenakkal project, pro-Kannada outfits on Saturday burnt his
effigy, demanding an unconditional apology from the actor and
threatened to boycott his films.
"The actor should render an unconditional apology to the people of
Karnataka," Karnataka Border Protection Committee (KBPC) leader Vatal
Nagaraj said.
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) activists torched Rajinikanth's
effigy at the Mysore Bank Circle for reportedly hitting out at
various organisations which spearheaded the anti-Hogenakkal stir.
Rajnikanth, while asserting that the issue was being raised in
Karnataka in view of assembly elections, had called for nipping the
protests in the bud. He was participating in a fast staged by the
Tamil film industry demanding implementation of the project in
Chennai on Friday. The Karnataka film industry had a staged a dharna
opposing the project.
KRV men blocked the way on Tumkur road on Saturday day protesting
against Rajnikanth's remarks.
KRV chief T A Narayanagowda and KBPC leader Vatal Nagaraj said they
would not allow screening of his films in the state. They also

Shiv Sena attacks Big B, praises Rajnikanth
MUMBAI: Targeting Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on the issue of Marathi pride, Shiv Sena on Saturday said he is not doing anything for Maharashtra, while Rajnikant is agitating for Tamil Nadu on the Hogenakkal water issue.

An article in Shiv Sena mouthpiece, Samana said, "several actors, who live in Mumbai achieve fame and glory. But when it comes to taking a firm stand on the issue of Marathi or regional pride, many of them including film star Amitabh Bachchan backtrack."
"But Rajnikant is one of the rare persons who has been true to the culture of Maharashtra. This is because he has taken side of the state which has made him big," the article said.
The reference points to the fact that Rajnikant was born in Maharashtra, grew up in Karnataka but became a superstar in Tamil Nadu.

Truth alone triumphs....after a small defeat!!
Gandhi was shot once in history. But now he is being rapidly shot whenever a dispute crops up between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Superstar Rajini who is a stern beleiver in Gandhiji's priciples including tolerance and ahimsa is now being continuously shot by his detractors and media with a sword called regionalism.I already told you in my previous blog post that Superstar will surely take part in the fast since it is in Gandhian way which he alone taught Kollywood in 2002. Despite this, due to media's handiworks, some of you raise doubt whether he will turn up to the fast or not. Surely he will sit in the fast. And i bet you that - ONLY he will observe the REAL FAST. (Don't understand? Just watch television on 4th April. You will understand that!!)
Ok...how is the situation in Tamil Nadu?
Situation is not worse as like in 2002. Busy people seems least bothered about this at all. Here and there (in bunk shops, tea stalls) a few people in groups discuss about this. Rest...as usual busy in their day to day life.
But media is just projecting this as if it is a burning problem. Most of the papers carried headlines that "Will Rajini take part in fast or not?" Even media houses who have soft corner towards Rajini too have slightly adjusted their policy just to make quick bucks of the situation. CNN-IBN too has telecasted a crap news with the same question. Their only aim is just to make money out of this situation. (You too Veeraraghav?)
Meanwhile Rajini's evergreen enemies like Tamilcinema.com, PMK's TV and paper, Maalai Murasu, recent opponents like Dinamalar and occasional opponents like thatstamil have started their work of degrading Rajini already and doing it vigorously. Many are in the conclusion that IF NOT NOW, then NEVER they could tarnish his image. Just i have attached herewith wall posters of news papers
Ques:Ok...why Superstar has not issued any statement so far? Last time he issued a statement....
Ans:During 2002 he was against the idea of Neyveli protest. So, he issued a statement against that at the initial stage itself. But this time he is in favour of this fast - a gandhian way of protest. He is now deeply analyzing the pros and cons issuing any statement. He don't want to get any image mileage by issuing statements or sentimental speech. His only concern is: His statement should not instigate any violence in Karnataka. He may issue a short press release on 3rd April or straight away come to the fast venue on 4th and sit in fast and observe it much sincerely than all others.
Just leave all your worries and pray for an amicable settlement between the two states.

From Bharathirajaa To Shankar
Manoj K Bharathy, son of veteran director Bharathirajaa, is all set to
join as an assistant to director Shankar. He informs that has been
included in the prestigious team after a formal interview.
A one-time assistant to director Manirathnam, Manoj had worked in the
making of `Bombay'. However he ventured to acting and acted in over a
dozen movies. Now he has decided go back to what he loves the most,
directing movies.
Says Manoj: "I am happy to work under Shankar Sir. I may direct a
movie on my own after the completion of Shankar Sir's magnum opus
`Robot' starring Superstar Rajinikanth.".

Three songs for Rajini in "Kuselan"
For the young music composer, it's a dream come true. Not many music
directors have had the privilege of composing music for a film
featuring such a big star during the beginning stage of their
respective careers.
The young and happening music director G V Prakash Kumar is so excited
about the plump offer of scoring music for Superstar Rajinikanth
starrer `Kuselan', directed by P. Vasu.
G V Prakash Kumar, who will compose half-a-dozen tunes for `Kuselan',
has revealed that the Superstar would appear in three songs. He also
informs that the composing for the introduction song for Rajini is
completed. It would be an acid test for the young musician, as
Rajini's intro songs are keenly awaited and passionately watched by
his fans.
The youngster is confident about the outcome. "I am proud and happy
that I have got the offer to work in a Rajini film at the beginning
stage of my career. I hope that I can perform well and satisfy Rajni
fans", says Prakash.

`Sultan The Warrior', the hi-tech and novel attempt on celluloid by
Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter, is growing in a fast pace with 20
per cent of the movie is completed.
More exciting news about the first ever 3D animation feature film in
India is that the music wizard A.R. Rahman has so far composed two
songs for the movie.
As director Soundarya informed earlier, the film has all the
ingredients of a Superstar flick, including the intro song for the
Superstar. The song, penned by veteran lyricist Vairamuthu and sung by
S.P. Balasubramaniam, is all set to enthrall the Rajini fans.
The other song is a duet song, which is again penned and sung by
Vairamuthu and SPB respectively.
It is worth recalling that most of the intro songs in Rajini films,
sung by SPB have become huge hits. The combination of ARR, SPB,
