Anbumani affirms Chandramukhi & Sivaji were historical hits

Dr.Anbumani Ramadoss, Union Health Minister, is now receiving brick bats from Bollywood especially Big B for his repeated target on filmdom.

Anbumani has come-up with a self explaining article 'If the Health Minister can't do this, who can?' in The Hindu dated 11th May 2008. In that article he has said that Superstar's recent two films were historical hits. Whatever his intention may be, situation has pushed him to say so. God's great!! Ha...ha..ha...

I just paste that particular paragraph which speaks about Superstar.

//Creativity as an art should be used for improving lives instead of taking them. Today drinking is characterised as macho, youthfulness, and acceptability in elite social circles. Yes, India is growing economically – its social indices are showing an improvement. Let a small campaign and a little awareness give it a fillip. Tamil actor Rajnikant's two latest movies were smoke-free and both were the biggest hits in the history of the Indian film industry. I wish some of the celebrities could come forward to tell the people that a can of Pepsi/Coco-cola contains 5-7 spoonfuls of sugar and a packet of chips contains 500 calories, and also its adverse impact on the health of its users.//

Note1: I know this mere two line affirmation won't bring any soft-corner for Rajini fans towards him or his father. This is just an info sharing.

Note2: I just want to remind you that Ramadoss said during the launch of Chandramukhi that if there's Poorva Jenma Punniyam for Superstar, the film would become success.
It seems that Superstar has tonnes and tonnes of punniyam in savings. At the same time, Ramadoss & Co. account balance for punniyam is diminishing. (just think about Supreme court's verdict on AIIMS Venugopal case)
